The puppy shall be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 4 days of receipt. If your vet determines the puppy to be ill , or for any reason this puppy is unacceptable, Buyer may return the puppy for a full refund at this time. If the puppy is returned due to illness, a letter from your vet is required. This only includes any health condition of the puppy deemed present prior to the removal from our premises. In addition the buyer may return the puppy at any time during the first 14 days for any reason as long  as the puppy has been properly cared for and all other conditions of this agreement have been met. This return will qualify for a full refund less 10%.  Any return after this time other than that addressed in this agreement will be negotiated between  the seller and the buyer.

The buyer agrees that this puppy will be given adequate and proper shade, housing and sufficiently fed. Also that the puppy shall not be neglected in any manner and in no manner mistreated. The buyer also agrees that the puppy shall receive adequate and proper veterinary care throughout it's lifetime and all inoculations/medications  be maintained to insure preventative health care.

This puppy is guaranteed to have functional hips until it is 5 years old. The FH guarantee will be honored when the following qualifications have been met:  (1) The puppy must be owned by the original buyer; (2) The Onyahsa prefix must appear in the registered name; (3) a hip x-ray must be taken and sent to the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation  for Animals) for their evaluation (4) The puppy must not have sired or whelped a litter until the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation  for Animals) Certification has been received; (5) The puppy must have visited the vet at least two times a year. 6)if all of the above have been met and the puppy receives below a borderline rating, and is not functionally able to run or walk without extreme pain,  their will be a cash refund equal to the initial price of the puppy or a replacement puppy. In order to further qualify for a refund or replacement, a copy of the OFA evaluation and x-ray must be submitted to the seller. The Puppy is also guaranteed to have clear eyes until it is 5 years old.

If the buyer is eligible for a cash refund or replacement, Seller requires that the signed registration papers along with veterinary proof that the puppy was sterilized be returned. In all cases you may still keep the puppy if you so desire. Many times even with dysplasia the puppy can still live a happy full life.

We strongly recommend that unless this dog is to be used for show and / or professional breeding, that the dog be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. (consult with your veterinarian) This is in the best health interest for your dog along with preventing unwanted dogs in your area. Every year hundreds of thousands of unwanted dogs are euthanized (put to sleep) by animal control officers throughout the country.

In this agreement time is of the essence and strict veterinary compliance with all veterinarian visits are required for this guarantee to be in effect. No other conditions were agreed to unless written above.  It is our hope that enforcement of this contract will never be necessary. and that the puppy and the buyer will enjoy a happy life together.
